As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and operational excellence, our company is proud to support an advanced PhD research project focused on Predictive Maintenance and Process Optimization, grounded in the principles of Lean Six Sigma.

This pioneering research is tailored to the needs of the ceramic brick manufacturing industry, with the primary objective of improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). By minimizing unplanned downtime and optimizing the performance of critical equipment, the project leverages predictive analytics and machine learning to drive meaningful improvements in productivity and process reliability.

Key Research Objectives:
  • Integrate condition monitoring and sensor data (e.g., vibration, temperature) into real-time maintenance decision-making
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to identify critical assets, streamline maintenance activities, and enhance product quality
  • Disseminate findings and best practices to promote knowledge transfer and industry impact

​This project is conducted in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Cyprus and is funded by the Research and Innovation Foundation under the RESTART 2016–2020 Program for Research, Technological Development and Innovation.

The outcomes of this research are expected to strengthen our digital and operational capabilities, reduce variability across our production systems, and contribute to the long-term sustainability of our manufacturing processes.
